Hatchet Caye features a public, full-service restaurant and bar, with a magnificent view of the clear waters of Belize. Open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner, the Lionfish Grill offers a unique and tasty menu cooked with local produce and the freshest seafood – lionfish included!
Lionfish, while exotic and beautiful, are a menace to the waters of Belize. Help us in controlling the local lionfish population and support the Belize Lionfish Project by tasting some of our signature lionfish dishes!
Fresh Food and Delicious Drinks
Awaken your senses with in-room coffee service and join us for breakfast between 7am and 10am. Dine in the restaurant pavilion, pool side, or at the end of our covered pier. Lunch is served from 11am until 2pm.
Dinner is served from 6pm until 9pm, with a seasonal menu that features the freshest seafood, local produce and herbs, as well as fresh baked breads from our own ovens.
The bar is open from 7am until as late as you like. We’ve found that guests don’t want to leave. There is a delightful array of juices, soft drinks, cocktails, beers and wines.
