The Outlet Youth Center
The Outlet is a non-profit community development organization for children and adolescents aged 3 to 18, providing quality afterschool programs, artistic learning experiences, and multidisciplinary activities.
The Outlet’s mission is to help prepare our youth for life’s adventures by providing them the space and resources that will allow them to develop their full potential & acquire higher self-esteem through positive socialization, artistic, scientific, and cultural pursuits, as well as community involvement. Through the activities offered at the Outlet, we will be providing the youth of Placencia:
- Recreational activities that connect them to themselves and to each other;
- Positive, constructive and stimulating new challenges;
- Enhanced learning opportunities;
- Artistic, scientific, and cultural experiences;
- Job-seeking and Travelling possibilities;
- Hands on experiences in community involvement and volunteering;
- A safe ‘hang out’ spot where they can be inspired
