Resort Accommodations
We don’t have a low season. It’s always great. Our rates are all-inclusive: all meals, housekeeping, WiFi internet service, Wii, freshwater swimming pool, transfers to and from Placencia airstrip, and water transfers to and from the mainland on arrival and departure dates.
Rates include the use of non-motorized water sports equipment including Hobie Cats, kayaks, pedal boats and snorkel gear. Activities at additional cost include flats, deep sea and bottom fishing, scuba diving, amphibious ultralight aircraft, boat charters, dinner cruises, spa services, and mainland based adventures.
Tipping is at your discretion and always appreciated but never expected. All tips are entirely distributed among the employees with no portion retained by the resort. If your service is exemplary, you may tip as you would at home.
Electricity is standard U.S. 110 volt, 60 cycle AC from our inverters charged by our solar array and back up generators. We want you to be comfortable, but encourage energy conservation as well. Our water is excellent; produced by our three reverse osmosis desalinization plants.
We limit children on the island to ensure that their youthful exuberance will not disturb other guests. These other guests might be people who have left their own children behind in order to enjoy an adult vacation.
Sometimes they are romantics whose fantasy planning did not include the sounds of children at play. Solace seekers sometimes feel the atmosphere changes when fellow guests fuss over children.
Please notify us of any existing medical conditions which might require attention. We maintain first aid packs on the island in addition to first aid kits in every boat. Placencia Village has a General Practitioner clinic and Belize City has a tertiary care hospital and trauma facility.
